Delhi College of Arts
The college of arts, situated at Tilak Marg Delhi, was established in 1942 and is leading amongst all B.F.A. colleges in India.
The College has been a pioneer institute for visual art practices. The Delhi College of Fine Arts is affiliated to faculty of music and fine arts, University of Delhi and it’s administered by government of NCT Delhi.
A wide choice of courses are offered by the college at undergraduate and postgraduate level in both the sections of visual art, viz. Creative art and applied art. Post graduate course, masters of fine arts (MFA) offers specialization in applied arts, painting, sculpture, visual communication, printmaking while bachelor's of fine arts (BFA), the undergraduate course offers applied art, art history, sculpture, visual communication, printmaking.
The College focuses on training its student in various artistic techniques with a greater emphasis on studio practical, outdoor sessions, theory subjects as well as on selected fields of research.
The scope of arts is beyond imagination but not its perception. The college works on refining the perception of its students in innovative creations and intellectual direction.
